Try Knights Key in Marathon FL.. It's at the east end of the 7 mile bridge. No TV without satellite but everything else is fine. A good place to hang out.

Blue Water is approximately 15 miles from Key West. It's upscale and a bit pricey.Boyd's is 4 miles from Key West,a little less upscale but almost as expensive. We alsohad our RV at Knights Key in Marathon (43 miles from Key West. No cable, pool or sewer hookup (dump station or they will pump you out at your campsite for $10.00)but there is a marina, beach with Tiki Bar and ocean sites that leave your RV about 8 feet from water at high tide. 25% less expensive than above two choices. There are other CG but we used these within the last few months. Enjoy.

I live in NJ across river from NYC. I just thought it was easiere to say NYC. Meanwhile it seems that traveling up the Delmarva peninsula and taking the ferry is the way to. Sounds good to me.

Knights Key for me. The waterfront sites are wonderful.The location is fairly central. AlsoBoyd's in Key West ( Mile marker 4.5 ) is a bit cramped but is the nearest you can get to KW. If you go eat at Hogfish, less than an 1/3 mile from Boyd's.

Stayed in Knight's Key in mid February. (MH still there). This is a delightful spot right before the 7 Mile Bridge at Mile Marker 43.5.Except for a pool(there is swimming area in the ocean side ), this place has all the amenities plus is a great location to explore the keys. It was sold and was to be closed but those plans are on hold. Will be there again in April.

Cross Tappan Zee (87). Take Garden State Parkway south to Route 80 east, take 80 east to NJ Tpke south to exit 14, take NJ Tpke extension east until Grand Street. You are two blocks away.

If you are in the Ocala, Fl area be aware of the Town of Waldo. It has been featured on Sixty Minutes as a speed trap. The Town has a quota of twenty out of state speeders each day. The speed zones leading into town change rapidly. It cost me $160.00 plus 4 hours traffic school.

Knights Key Campground is approximately $70.00 per night and is located at mile marker 43 or so ( at eastern end of 7 mile bridge ).
Great place to stay but it was sold to condo developers approximately 3 years ago. Campground still open but currently scheduled to close March1, 2008. Prior closing dates have been postponed and am hoping this one will be also.(Condo market in the tank ).

Take the ferry. The ferry company has its own buses which bring you within a block of Rockefeller Center. Call New York Waterway for info.
